STOUR VALLEY SPECIAL - 1st October 2017

The Stour Valley Special is a low-tech, pop-up version of the marathon. It follows exactly the same route, just slightly modified to start and finish at the Anchor in Nayland. A higher degree of self-sufficiency is required as there will be no aid stations - just water drops. The village hall facilities will not be available, so no showers. Food at the end can be purchased at the pub. Only 60 places are available and there will be no refunds or deferrals as there will be no subsequent event to transfer to.

The race will start at 12 noon, meaning that we will all finish while the pub kitchen is open and serving food. All Stour Valley Marathon rules apply, except as otherwise specified on this page.

All finishers will get a Stour Valley Marathon medal - if you ran in June you will then have an identical pair.

Entry for affiliated runners is £10. £12 for unaffiliated runners and £9 for MEC members. Enter using the button below - please note that SVM personal numbers do not apply for this event and you will be allocated a number at random.
